Fifth prahar — sandhya (evening) · 18:00–21:00
Marwa
मारवा
Head of the Marwa thaat, sung at sunset — komal Re and tivra Ma with Pa omitted entirely and Sa touched only sparingly, leaving the melody suspended without resolution. The classic dusk atmosphere of yearning and renunciation.

Dosha effect
Vata ±0 · Pitta -1 · Kapha ±0(−2 pacifies · +2 aggravates)
Sunset raga of vairagya — with Pa omitted and Sa deliberately weakened, its suspended phrases draw the mind inward as the day's pitta subsides.
