Bihag
बिहाग
A beloved night raga of the Bilawal thaat, serene and romantic in mood. It moves on shuddha Ma in ascent and touches tivra Ma in descent (the signature M'-P-G phrase), omitting Re and Dha while rising.

Dosha effect
Vata -1 · Pitta ±0 · Kapha ±0(−2 pacifies · +2 aggravates)
Night Bilawal-family raga — the serene, settled sanchara and the soothing fold of shuddha into tivra Ma steady the vata that rises into the night.
On Venus: Tender, romantic shringara and a luminous evening palette place Bihag in Shukra's rasa of beauty and union.
