Ananda Bhairavi
आनन्द भैरवी
A beloved Carnatic ragam, janya of Natabhairavi (mela 20), rich in gamaka and considered deeply auspicious — sung at weddings and in devotional music. Carnatic practice assigns it no fixed hour, and its gamaka-borne svarupa resists Hindustani scale notation, so scale and prahar are left unstated.
